They use herbs and essential oils in therapeutic concentrations for optimum benefit. For example, research has shown that aloe vera is only effective in concentrations of over 70%, so for maximum efficacy we use 100% where appropriate. Plant oils must be virgin and cold-pressed so that they have their full antioxidant vitamin-content intact, so as to actively nourish the skin and protect it from premature ageing.

Essential Care do not use artificial fragrance; butylene glycol; colourings; cocamide DEA/MEA; cocomidopropyl betaine; dimethicone (or silicone); lanolin; methyldibromo glutaronitrile; mineral oil; parabens; paraffin products, petroleum oils; polyethylene glycol (PEG); sodium lauryl(eth) sulphate (or any other sulphate detergents); TEA; triclosan; urea; or other common synthetics.
