Laura Rudeo is the founder and driving force behind evolve, and has always had an interest in ethical and environmentally friendly business practices. She is also passionate about food and wellbeing, and has worked extensively using alternative medicine and nutrition to improve her own health. These ideas about natural food-based ingredients working in balance with the body inspired the development of the evolve range.

Laura has spent much of her career in the ethical space and returning to London after completing an MBA at Harvard Businesss School, she became the founding employee and head of development at the award-winning skincare range 'nude skincare'.

In September 2008, newly pregnant and seeking a work-life balance where she could combine motherhood with her passion of creating ethical businesses, Laura set up an ethical development company, to produce a range of affordable yet desirable organic toiletries. At this point, evolve evolved!

We know that nature is smarter than we are. Over millions of years, nature has created ingenious solutions to difficult problems, in balance with all living things. evolve use highly effective natural ingredients derived from fairly traded superfoods like argan, moringa and natural origin anti aging peptides that have been tested and perfected by nature to create a truly natural product that works.
Certified organic, food based ingredients
Although not everything in nature is good for you, you can be pretty sure that anything good enough to eat is going to be good for your skin. That’s why all evolve products are made from delicious food based ingredients that our bodies naturally understand.
no nasties
evolve products are 99.5%+ natural. The only synthetics used are safe synthetic preservatives that are required to make the products last. No nasties means that evolve products do not contain: parabens, sulfates, silicones, phthalates, synthetic fragrances or colours.
Animal friendly product
All evolve products and ingredients are certified by BUAV to be cruelty free and are vegetarian and vegan friendly. They are also 'fish friendly' as all ingredients used are biodegradable, so they won’t damage the environment.

eco smart packaging
evolve want to make it easy for you to be a little greener every day so they make their bottles out of recycled plastic made from locally sourced milk bottles. This ensures that the plastic is food grade and isn't contaminated so it can safely be used in personal care products.

All of the evolve bottles and some of the lids are also recycl-able again (all are recyclable but it depends on local recycling policies whether all types of plastic are collected). Information on exactly how to recycle evolve bottles is printed on the back of every bottle and they are an early adopter to the new voluntary recycled labelling standard for packaging.

All evolve products and packaging are produced in the UK to minimise their carbon footprint.

evolve's products are certified by ECOCERT, the organic certification organization, founded in France in 1991..

It is based in Europe but conducts inspections in over 80 countries, making it one of the largest organic certification organizations in the world.
