Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit cards via a secure hosted credit card processing site, as well as PayPal. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Please ensure that you include a valid e-mail address with your order. This ensures that you will recieve a digital receipt for your order and payment, and we can contact you if there are any problems with your order.
Shipping And Handling
Orders in the United Kingdom

Most orders are sent via Royal Mail, although larger orders may be sent by selected courier. You will be sent an e-mail to confirm when your purchase has been sent.

Free postage and packaging applies to UK orders over £20.00, which will be sent using Royal Mail's Second Class service. For all orders under £20.00, a shipping charge of £1.99 will be incurred.

For a payment of £3.00, your package will be sent via Royal Mail's First Class service.

For a payment of £7.49, your package will be sent via Royal Mail's First Class Next Day Delivery service. Orders placed before 11.30am Mon-Fri will be recieved the following day.

Most orders are sent Airmail using the Royal Mail International Signed For service. You will be sent an e-mail to confirm when your purchase has been despatched.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. We will endeavour to ship your complete order within 5 working days. Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

No credit or debit card details are entered into our website, nor are they stored in our website. These details are entered into secure web pages that are being hosted by Actinic Payments, who use state of the art security tools and techniques, some proprietary and many using common security standards, all provide full protection for both merchants and shoppers alike.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

This Directive provides a cooling off period and the unconditional right to cancel any order during the cooling off period. The cooling off period begins as soon as the order has been made and ends seven working days after the day of receipt of the goods. At appuru, we have extended the cooling off period to fourteen days.

The regulations state that the customer must contact us in writing (e-mail is acceptable) of their intent to cancel the order before the cooling off period has ended. If the goods have already been despatched by us, the customer must return the goods to us, or make arrangements for us to collect the goods. The customer also has to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in their possession, and ensure that they are returned to us in a saleable condition, otherwise we can seek recompense.

To ensure that goods are in a saleable condition, the goods must be unused, unopened, undamaged and in their original packaging with all seals intact. In the interests of hygiene, refunds will not be given against mascara products or products that have been tested or removed from their original packaging.

The customer is responsible for all charges to return goods to us, or if we collect the goods from you, we will deduct the collection costs from the amount refunded. We can not be held responsible for goods that are damaged or have become lost in the post. Customers are advised to obtain a Proof of Postage for any goods returned to us via the post, or use a trackable service, such as recorded delivery.

Once the goods have been received by us in a satisfactory condition, a refund of the cost of goods will be made according to the original payment method. This will normally be done within seven working days after receipt of the goods, but in any event, not longer than 30 days.
