Security Policy

When you place an order on our website, our site only collects your address and order details. These are then sent to a secure website operated by Actinic Payments or PayPal where you enter your credit cards details and they are securely processed. Both Actinic Payments and PayPal use 128 bit encryption software to ensure that your details are kept secure.

Actinic Payments use state of the art security tools and techniques, some proprietary and many using common security standards, all provide full protection for both merchants and shoppers alike.

The key standard for security is the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Actinic Payments, powered by Creditcall, is fully level one PCI DSS compliant, the highest level. This means that Actinic Payments uses strong encryption and digital signatures to make sure that all sensitive information is protected throughout. All computer systems are secured by firewalls and are in secure locations with restricted access.

Actinic Payments use Thawte 2048 bit encryption systems. At the browser 128 Bit SSL is used. Payment pages use extended validation (EV) security certificates which result in the address bar in Internet Explorer going green.

In summary, our website does not have a 'Golden Padlock' displayed because we do not collect credit card details. However, when you process a payment, you will see the 'Golden Padlock' symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the page where you enter your credit card details, as these details are processed by either Actinic Payments or PayPal.
